AffPapa recently interviewed Artyom Moskvin, COO at Endorphina, about his professional journey in iGaming, the creative process behind the games, strategic priorities, and proudest project.

Yeva: Artyom, you’ve had an impressive journey leading up to your current role as COO of Endorphina. What drew you to the iGaming industry in the first place? Can you walk us through your professional journey?

I think, like many in the industry, I found my way into iGaming almost by accident. It all started as a side job in a land-based casino during my university years, where I was first introduced to the fascinating world of casino games. Being a naturally competitive person, poker quickly caught my attention, and not so long after, it became my main source of income. It was an exciting time — the golden era of online poker, filled with iconic names and booming communities.

At the same time, online gaming was rapidly emerging, and with my growing experience and interests, I transitioned into Live Casino. Riga, becoming something of a ‘capital’ for Live Casino, made the move even more natural. I started in operations at Evolution and climbed the career ladder across offices in Europe, riding the wave of the company’s phenomenal growth.

After four incredible years, I joined Playtech, where I deepened my understanding of business, commercial strategy, and B2B operations. Joining the account management team, I’ve started to see iGaming from a different perspective, and after a while, I was managing the team already, ending up managing a department serving different roles. Playtech, also being a multi-vertical provider, had a lot of cross-product projects, and that’s how I started being curious about slots. I remember during covid times we had those Friday online gatherings, I watched a senior colleague passionately playing slots in the evenings, while sharing a screen — that’s when the seed was planted.

Today, I’m proud to be part of the Endorphina team. It’s been a thrilling new adventure — a lot of learning, sometimes teaching, but always growing. I’m excited about what we’re building here.

Yeva: iGaming is a fast-changing industry – new tech, regulations, market shifts. What have been some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as a COO, and how did you overcome them?

Like in many fast-growing companies, one of the biggest challenges has been maintaining seamless communication across departments. We’re fortunate to have strong and charismatic leaders, but aligning everyone’s vision and strategy takes real effort.

That said, I’m proud to see how much we’ve progressed. Today, we’re able to sit down as one leadership team, openly discuss challenges, and collaborate on solutions — a sign of real maturity and trust within the company.

Yeva: Endorphina games have a very distinctive identity, combining math models with vivid, often edgy themes. How do you decide which direction to go with new games? What’s the creative process like behind the scenes?

At Endorphina, we always start from the player’s point of view. Which mechanics and math models will deliver the most exciting experience?

Sometimes, we know a particular mechanic fits better with classic themes — fruits, crowns, coins — while other times, it feels more suited for cascading slots like Starshine Crystals, Power Balls, or Fortune Snake.

Sometimes, we would mix the mechanics together. Bottom line is that we like to experiment with mechanics across different games and suits because player psychology and theme engagement can vary dramatically.

It’s a highly collaborative process, full of brainstorming sessions with our studio, and sometimes a great idea sparks from anywhere in the company. When that happens, we jump on it and bring it to life.

Yeva: The competitive landscape in slot development is incredibly saturated. What would you say makes Endorphina different and ahead of the curve?

What sets Endorphina apart is our ability to blend tradition with innovation. We respect the roots of classic slot gaming — high RTPs, clean math, and that pure, satisfying player experience — but we’re not afraid to reinvent and modernize it. We’re constantly evolving, introducing new mechanics like Gold Pile bonuses, integrating 3D characters, developing player engagement tools like Drops and Tournaments — all while keeping our signature Endorphina feel. I think players recognize that authenticity. When they open one of our games, they know they’re getting a polished, thoughtfully crafted experience, not just a flashy trend. And for us, that’s the real secret to staying ahead: consistency, innovation, and deep respect for what makes players come back.

Yeva: With the company expanding into new markets and increasing its presence globally, what are your key strategic priorities for Endorphina in the next couple of years?

Our main strategic priority is global expansion. We’re continuously exploring new market opportunities and regulatory entries, and our compliance team is doing an outstanding job unlocking doors for us worldwide.

We’re confident in our product — we know that players will get their ‘dose of endorphins’ with our games.

Beyond expansion, player experience remains our core focus. We listen carefully to feedback from both players and partners and stay flexible to adapt and improve. Continuous innovation is not just a goal for us — it’s a mindset.

Yeva: Can you share an initiative, project, or release you’re particularly proud of at Endorphina?

I’m extremely proud of our customer-facing teams — they consistently deliver top-tier service, with swift replies, proactive support, and genuine care for our partners. Cheers to the team doing it as we speak!

On the product side, I’m proud of our bonus tools and the robust support model we’ve built around them. Today, we can confidently say we offer a bonus toolkit that’s on par with the other top-tier providers in the industry.

And personally, I’m a big fan of our classic game suite. Our latest release, Hit Slot 2025, may have an ‘in-your-face’ name, but it’s an incredible game, blending beloved fruits and 7s with new coin mechanics that players absolutely love.
