Betfred has unveiled a new “hi-tech purpose-built” studio at its Warrington headquarters to house its new live lottery games.
The facility, which forms part of a major refurbishment of the operator’s main hub, will house the newly launched Nifty 50 numbers game.
Nifty 50 is a fixed odds numbers game that features five live draws a day, streamed on Betfred Lotto’s YouTube channel.
The game can also be viewed in Betfred’s retail shops as well as online via other mediums.
Each draw will boast a jackpot of £5m, with the game having launched yesterday, 4 November.
Players can win £5m when picking and matching six numbers, while a £10,000 consolation prize is in place for correctly picking five numbers.
The draws take place at 11.30am, 2.30pm, 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm UK time.
Nifty 50 will be hosted by former LADbible head Joshua Littlehales and Radio Warrington presenter Grace Constantinou.
The pair, who joined the operator in the summer ahead of the game’s rollout, will be supported by Paul Sudlow as the live game’s production designer.
Sudlow, who has been commissioned by Betfred to oversee production, had an extensive career with ITV Sport, having worked on its coverage of Euro 2024 and the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Betfred founder Fred Done said: “The whole idea behind Nifty 50 is for customers to win big for small stakes, and to now promote it with a purpose-built studio and live presenters, I am delighted.”
Last month, Betfred named former Nike and Adidas head Cath Ryan as the group’s new head of brand and customer experience.
