COGIT group launches croupier school in Martinique and Guadeloupe

The COGIT group, the fifth French operator with eight casinos, has launched, in partnership with the Cerus Casino Academy training institute, the first croupier school in Martinique and Guadeloupe.

France Travail, the Entertainment Training Insurance (AFDAS) and Damien Engels, the director of the Cerus Casino Academy also fully contributed to the realization of this project.

With a total duration of 400 hours, this training alternates distance learning and practical face-to-face sessions. The courses began on December 23 remotely and have continued since January 7 and until March 25 in person at the Batelière Plazza casino for Martinique and at the Gosier casino for Guadeloupe.

Future croupiers will be trained in the basic techniques of the profession: handling chips, running gaming tables such as English roulette, Black Jack or Hold’em Poker, while integrating the ethical and regulatory requirements specific to this sector. ‘activity.
