Former IMG Arena president joins Low6 board of directors 

Low6 has announced the addition of former IMG head Freddie Longe to its board of directors.

The ex-IMG Arena president takes his place on the UK-based supplier’s board, having played a key role in the creation of IMG’s betting and gaming business in 2012.

Upon IMG spinning out IMG Arena in 2018, Longe stepped into the senior vice-president and managing director role of the newly created division in November of that year.

One year later and he was promoted to executive vice-president, holding the position until April 2022 when he was named president.

Longe left IMG Arena on a day-to-day basis when its parent company Endeavor merged OpenBet with the entity.

He was retained as a strategic adviser, before a management-led buyout saw OpenBet and IMG Arena sold by Endeavor in a $450m deal.

He also spent 12 years at IMG Media in several roles, including as vice-president of digital media sales from October 2010 to June 2013 and senior vice-president and head of gaming from July 2013 to November 2018.

Longe was also a member of Leap Gaming’s board from June 2018 to June 2024.

Low6 co-founder and CEO Jamie Mitchell took to LinkedIn to announce the addition of Longe, remarking on the wealth of experience he to the supplier.

Mitchell said: “I am delighted to welcome Freddie, someone who I have admired for a long time, to our board of directors. 

“Freddie shares our outlook on sport and gamification as a whole, and I believe he will add tremendous value to our team.”

Last January, Low6 announced chief strategy officer Josh Turk was added to the free-to-play developer’s board.

He joined chair Andy Clerkson, CEO Mitchell and ex-DraftKings international head Jeffrey Haas on the board at the time of his arrival.
