Happy Valley Casino to open in April in Pennsylvania with 30 tables and 700 slots

Pennsylvania’s next casino, Centre County’s first, Happy Valley Casino, will be open to the public in April next year, offering 30 table games, over 700 slot machines, and a full-service restaurant.

“The project’s been taking a long time to get to this point, and so we’re happy to be so close to actually opening the doors,” Eric Pearson, CEO and General Manager of Happy Valley Casino, said.

It will employ almost 300 people, with the casino holding a 12-week dealer school where anyone can learn and apply to become a dealer. The casino will offer 16 blackjack tables, as well as three for roulette and two each for craps, mini baccarat and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. There would also be one table each of Spanish 21, three card poker, face up pai gow poker, Mississippi stud and pai gow poker. After a year of operation, it will be able to apply to host ten more table games.
