The Dutch gambling authority Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has issued a warning to BlokDance for the provision of unlicensed igaming services.

According to the regulator, the company has violated Dutch gambling laws by targeting the local market with an online gambling offering on its bc.game and bcgame.lu domains without the necessary permissions to facilitate that.

After the initial investigation, the KSA requested all services to be taken down. On a second review, it was found that the request was not fulfilled and the services are still accessible to Dutch consumers.

The follow-up review showcased that it was still possible to create a player account, make deposits and take part in the illegal games on offer, with the KSA adding that there were “no technical measures” taken to prevent this.

Now, BlokDance has four weeks to definitively comply with the takedown order, otherwise, it will face a financial penalty of €280,000 generated per week while the violation is ongoing, up to a maximum of €840,000.
