LeoVegas Group to roll out net deposit limits across UK brands

LeoVegas Group is set to update its deposit limit calculations in the UK across its entire portfolio of brands from March.

In an email sent to LeoVegas customers, the operator said that from 1 March it would take customer withdrawals into account when related to daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits.

The change is due to come into effect across BetMGM, BetUK, LeoVegas, Pink Casino, 21.co.uk and Slotboss.

LeoVegas Group said the shift in how deposit limits work would give customers “more control over [their] spending”.

In an example attached to the email, LeoVegas Group gave the hypothetical instance of a customer with a monthly deposit limit of £100.

Throughout the month, said customer deposits £50 and withdraws £20, which under the current measures would mean the customer has £50 left on their monthly deposit limit.

However, under the new incoming system, the £20 withdrawal will mean the customer will still have £70 within their deposit limit for the month.

Daily limits will still reset at midnight everyday, weekly limits on Mondays at midnight and monthly limits on the first of the month at midnight.

LeoVegas Group said: “Currently, if you have deposit limits set on your account, these are calculated strictly on the amount you deposit.

“However, from 1 March 2025 your deposit limit will consider both deposits and withdrawals, which will apply to daily, weekly and monthly limits.

“There is nothing you need to do, this change will be automatically applied. Please note that this change will not apply to limits our safer gambling team may set on your behalf.”

The change from LeoVegas Group will align it with fellow UK-facing operator Sky Bet, that updated its deposit limits to include withdrawals in April 2024.

Flutter’s other brands, Paddy Power, Betfair Sportsbook and tombola, already consider withdrawals in deposit limits.

Tombola, a recreational, bingo-led brand, also offers a sitewide net deposit limit of £300 per week and £1,500 per month for all players.

Evoke-owned brands William Hill and 888 both use net deposits when calculating limits, as does Entain’s Ladbrokes and Coral.
