The renovation work at the Merkur Casino Magdeburg, in the capital of the German state Saxony-Anhalt in central Germany, has been successfully completed. Both the total area and the range of games on offer have been significantly increased.
Guests can now look forward to numerous new attractions: In addition to 50 other slot machines, the classic game in the form of blackjack and poker is also making its way into the casino in the Pfahlberg industrial park.
The Merkur Spielbank Magdeburg reacted to the increasing number of visitors and the desire of guests for an expanded range of games. With the introduction of the Classic Game, this request could be granted. From now on, from Thursday to Sunday between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m., there will be the opportunity to play blackjack as well as the poker variants Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Cash Game. With the expansion of around 300 square metres, the total area now covers approx. 1,400 square metres.
To celebrate this event, numerous activities are planned at the casino: From 2 to 21 September, a total of three visitors to the casino will have the chance to win a cruise with TUI’s “Mein Schiff” fleet. The travel vouchers, each worth 5,000 euros, can be won at all Merkur machines via the “Travel Mystery Jackpot”. In addition, the popular “Big Casino Gameshow” will take place on September 21st, which will not only provide excitement and entertainment, but also numerous prizes and guaranteed cash payouts.
