Relax Gaming adds ex-Games Global head as general counsel

Relax Gaming has snapped up former Games Global legal head Angela van den Berg as the supplier’s new general counsel.

Van den Berg joins Relax Gaming having served as Games Global’s chief legal officer between August 2022 and August 2024.

During her time with the supplier, she played a key role in developing its legal function and strategy.

Prior to moving to Games Global, she spent 15 years at Novellie, Verardi and Mitchell, an Isle of Man-based law firm.

During her time there, where she served as a senior associate and then a partner, Van den Berg worked extensively within the igaming industry.

Based out of Relax Gaming’s Isle of Man offices, Van den Berg will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s legal function and managing group legal affairs.

Alongside her new role, the general counsel will continue to serve as the chair of Love Tech, an Isle of Man charity that focuses supporting young women moving into STEM roles.
